A NEW VOICE ON RADIO KSTE
If you are listening to the radio on Saturday afternoon at about 1:00 pm on KSTE and you hear someone with a golden voice that is our own vice president, Duane Knickerbocker! Because of the training he has done for PG&E both locally and nationally and for cities, counties, mayors and even with Congress (he hates us talking about this and has no idea we are writing this) he has now been asked to do radio.
There is a group called CHERP which stands for the Community Home Energy Retrofit Project that is a statewide non-profit that educates homeowners about home energy upgrades and what they can actually mean. Duane is working with CHERP to get the word out and to get people involved. They found Duane through a local channel and asked him to get involved and he donated his time!
Duane is answering listener questions about what a home assessment is, why it’s done and what can be found. People are learning a lot (at least that is what they are telling us) and he loves doing it we think. Although, after sending us this picture he defined this area as “The Pressure Cooker" and tells us there is nothing like being behind a live microphone and taking a chance on making a mistake!
We are so proud to have our VP on the air and we really want people to listen. Duane is “On The Air” Saturdays between 1 and 2 pm on Talk 650 KSTE. Listen in and when you see Duane hosting Saturday Night Live we can all say we knew him when! If you have any issues with home comfort or higher than you like bills call Brower Mechanical at 916-624-0808.
