With the SMUD Home Performance Program, you may qualify for rebates to improve your home's energy efficiency and reduce your carbon footprint. As a SMUD Participating Contractors, Brower Mechanical will use state-of-the-art technology to give your home a comprehensive energy assessment. From insulation to HVAC, we can show you where and how to reduce your carbon footprint and save money and energy.
You can participate in the SMUD Home Rebates Program by taking three simple steps:
1. Select your contractor.
Brower Mechanical is a Participating Contractor with the SMUD Home Performance Program. We’ll recommend energy efficiency improvements, available rebates, and financing options that suit your home and budget.
2. Select your home upgrade package.
Home upgrade packages include air sealing & insulation, heat pump water heater upgrade, heating & cooling system upgrades, and the Go Electric Home Bonus.
3. Finance your project with SMUD.
After choosing your upgrade package and available rebates, get 6.99% APR financing for your project up to $30,000 with a maximum term length of 180 months.
Which Energy Efficiency Upgrades Qualify for Rebates?
As certified home experts, we can help you determine which qualifying home upgrades are best for your home. Available rebates include:
Seal and Insulate
Receive up to $3,000 when you air seal and re-insulate your home.
Heat Pump Water Heaters
Reduce your water heating bills with an efficient heat pump water heater upgrade with rebates up to $2,000.
Heating and Cooling Systems
Receive up to $3,000 when you upgrade to high efficiency heating and AC equipment.
Go Electric Home Bonus
To qualify for the Go Electric Bonus with rebates of up to $2,500, you first need to complete the heating and cooling systems upgrade package. Now your home is ready for all-electric circuit upgrades including EV charger, upgraded electrical panel, range/cooktop circuit and a clothes dryer circuit.
