Western Care Construction Solar Project
As a company dedicated to reducing energy costs and consumption for home and business owners across the Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Granite Bay areas and beyond, Brower Mechanical offers customers top-quality services including renewable energy upgrades. For Rocklin area based Western Care Construction, we completed a comprehensive solar upgrade project to help them achieve their energy goals while at the same time saving money with some great tax benefits/incentives.
Western Care Construction’s Electricity & Cost Savings
Our team installed (184) Canadian Solar 260watt solar modules with four (4) Solar Edge inverters (47.8 kwDC solar array). The system is designed to generate 65,574 kWh per year, which will reduce their electrical consumption from PG&E by a staggering 61%!
Our solar installation team also conducted a thorough analysis of predicted cost savings for Western Care Construction. In the first year, their electrical savings will be more than $14,000. Over the next 30 years, their electricity savings will be in excess of $630,000.
Taking Advantage of the Solar Investment Tax Credit & Financing Options
For all of the clients with whom we work, we like to make sure they take advantage of as many rebates and incentives as possible, to make energy upgrades affordable.
We also helped the company receive a tax credit of $53,000. Over the first 6 years of their solar system’s life, they will be able use over $37,000 in tax deductions for depreciation of the equipment (using the “MACRS,” or Federal Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery System).
